NT01 18' Tires Sizing Question

I have been tracking my 997 C2 for a while and had finally pulled the trigger on a set of dedicated track wheels. The bought a set of 18x8 fronts and 18x11 rears. I would like to run NT01 tires. Would 245/40-18 fronts and 275/35-18 rears be a good combo?

I'm sorry to burst your bubble...but for a 997 based car you really need 9x18 et50 fronts and 12x18 et63 rears...for narrow body C2 or C2 S or GT3. Then you can run these tire sizes:
255/35/18 front
315/35/18 rear
or
245/40/18 front
305/35/18 rear

275 in the rear is small small small. As for NT01's I'm starting to see 997 cars use 245/40/18 front and 315/30/18 rear and this seems to be working out great even though the rear overall diameter vs the front diameter is not with in 997 front to rear specs like the sizes I listed above.

Are you running on the 20th in Alameda? I'm running my 4S for the first time at this event. I've always borrowed my Brother in Law's Boxster.

I am looking to do the same. What 18" wheel did you go with?

When I had 5 lug wheels on my 997S 2006 and 2007 and 997S 2009 (do I ever miss 5 lugs!) I ran CCW Corsair 10 9x18 et50 and 12x18 et63...perfect fit and a great great forged track wheel...new they sell for $2800.

THe OEM sizes are 18x8 18x10.5. I assumed 18x8 and 18x11 would work. Thanks for the heads up, I will look more into it
