killa,
Your wheel design is nice but agreed in chromium, it definitely detracts/negates the sport/aggressive look of your 997. Particularly so w/ the aerokit bumper. Have you thought about getting them redone in a matte finish (silver, titanium, or black if you like) which would be much cheaper.
Should you choose to go w/ a different set of wheels, know the northeast ain't prime market for dumping a set of chromes. However, they are somewhat popular (at least w/ dealers) in the SW and SE USA markets. So, if you're planning to recoup any $ selling them, be prepared to ship and even then it may take some time and definitely at the right price b/c OEM wheels tend to get discounted heavily...
Good luck

Food for thought. If you should decide to sell or trade your car later down the road, it will very likely have to have Porsche wheels on it to be considered a CPO car. No mods (according to Porsche), including aftermarket wheels.
You might consider putting them in a corner in your garage, or wherever you store 'stuff'. That might keep you from buying a set in the future.
