Hi everyone, I'm in the process of buying my first P-car, and I found one at the P-dealership in baton rouge, LA; however, while looking for a shop where to have the PPI perform around the same area I havent been able to find any. are they the only ones in the entire area? the next P-dealership is in New Orleans but I'm trying to find an indy shop where hasnt been able to find any.

The car I'm looking at is a 09 CPO c2s with 24k on it. I just requested them for a DME report since the car is manual, but would like to have the ppi done too.

btw, I ran carfax on the car and its a 1 owner but it says it was a lease/business car, and also per the carfax history it shows it's been sitting at the dealership lot for almost a year now, would those be any red flags to consider?? lease history and not being able to sell the car for about a year??

I havent seen the car personally since I'm in SoCal, but I was planning to request dme report, PPI, obviously agreed on a price, and then fly out to check it out, test drive it, and if everything looks good, close the deal.

any comments please? maybe I'm missing something out or should not even consider buying this car? or maybe its a good deal?

 

You are not in luck in that area. The best option is to locate a car in the Houston or Dallas area if you live in LA. Then you can find and INDy to perform a PPI.
