997 Turbo brakes on 997 C4S
I own a 997 C4S which I use for track days. I was a bit unhappy with the the stock brakes so I decited to upgrade my brake system.
I have in front of my an opportunity to buy a complete set of front and rear calipers and rotors from a 997 turbo 2013. I am new to porsche cars and i would like to hear if anybody has ever done this upgrade and if it is possible to do it.
I know many porsche brakes are interchangeablebut i am not sure about this upgrade!

The front will probably have a higher heat capacity so it won't overheat and fade as quickly during a track day. However, considering how heavy the rear end on the Porsche is, you might benefit from upgrading both the front and rear to a larger diameter rotors like the Brembo 380mm slotted kit.

I am considering to use the 350mm turbo brakes both in front and rear. In terms weight you are right coz of increased rotating mass. Perhaps using rotors with aluminum hub might help. The matter is do the turbo brakes fit directly onto the C4S?

I was told no when I tried to buy a set of PCCB off of a Turbo

The callipers mount onto the wheel carrier.
Front axle wheel carriers:
Turbo '10+ LEFT SIDE: 997 331 111 07
C4S '10+ LEFT SIDE: 997 331 111 07
They are the same. This is also true for rear axles.
Therefore, the callipers will mount onto the wheel carrier.
I used the same principle when looking for aftermarket brakes that fit onto the 997.2 C2S onto my C2.

You can't put the rear trubo calipers on a C2S/C4S without upsetting the brake bias.
You can put the front 6pot Turbo caliper and rotor no problem since the clamping foce is the same as the front "big reds" found on the 'S' Carrera's.

Changing the MC won't help since the rears are clamping harder (bigger diameter pistons). You would likely need to play around with pad compounds to balance things out but I wouldn't go down that road myself. You can add bigger rotors on the rear with a caliper spacer...

For the price of bigger front and rear rotors and caliper spacers i can buy the turbo brakes all around. The difference is visible after 10 minutes of track driving. The C4S brakes give up very quickly
