ahh install them yourself.. its as simple as doing a brake job.. you can normally borrow a spring compressor kit from your local car parts store.. (well at least we can here in Canada)

I just moved to Florida. Went from a giant house with and 8 car garage to a tiny town house. The garage just fits my 997 and my 2 Harley's. I had no room for anything else. Had to bum stuff off a neighbor just to swap the wheels. So doing it at home is not going to happen.

It usually costs about an hour per spring for labor, so it all depends on what rate you're charged from your local shop.

Your car looks incredible, good luck with the new wheels. If you don't mind my asking, what did the turbo wing run you all together? I hate asking prices, but I'm seriously considering it for my '06 C2S

No, for the complete install (cutting a hole for the new airbox, rewiring, etc). I actually read that on some old posts from this forum. Here's one of them:

Well that's silly 10k. I learned after that the new hole would not have to be cut. I dolled up the underside so I could live with the extra hole.

It was a pleasure. You all were honest answered all my stupid questions(and my wife's) I could not be happier. Thank you.

Next I need to school myself about about all the lowering options. My last car lowered was the cats ***.

Well not exactly. You can keep the OEM airbox and not move the fan if you replace the fan with a low profile fan. No moving fan. You can keep the OEM box move the OEM fan slightly with extender tabs about a 1/2 inch. I learned too much after the install and know all the options now. If you want to talk on the phone it would be easier. Lmk
