fabspeed cold air kit

does anyone have it? If so, does it make a major sound difference or performance difference? I will have PSE, so is this mod worthy?

Why do you say you won't hear it? The video on their site shows a difference. Does anybody who has one post their before and after opinion?

With PSE you won't hear it. with stock exhaust it makes a nice sound, but no performance increase. save your money.

appreciate it man!!! I am also wondering about the muffler bypass pipes. I know I ordered PSE, but if I could get these for occasional fun, it would be nice. How hard is the install and removal, I guess that will be the main factor.

have it before I installed aftermarket exhaust...good sound increase ....deeper sound when the pedal to the metal :-) ...no feel in performance...the car just breathes better... well worth it.... Thanks Joe!

I've had the Fabspeed cold air kit on for some months - no doubt in my mind that it helps with the stock exhaust - noticeable difference and worthwhile mod. I put PSE on yesterday and can't compare before and after with the cold air kit too (but damn my exhaust sounds good now!).

jcnesq, How do you like the PSE? I have not heard it on a 997, is it similar to the 996 w/PSE?

Get the EVO air box. It sounds great. Yes you can hear it with a PSE and it for sure has an effect on performance.

Joe what's up with the new tips for the 997s? Every time I call you guys you say they are another week in development. I bought the full AWE exhaust system but am waiting for your tips to come out before I install it.
