Collection of 997 Narrow Body Rear Wings
+ Hope this thread will help people searching for a wing
Figured i'd compile a list of some wings for NB 997 since i was looking for one & had to search a alot- i will update if i missed any others
IMO if your doing the Gt2 .1 or .2 rear then My Favorite is the 997.2 GT3 Wing on member ngrette10's maroon 997
if your leaving the rear stock then the simple carrera wing -
All these cars are narrow body- some have 997 GT3.1 - GT3.2 rear bumpers.
Which one do you like best?
ps: i've collected these from members cars posted online-
1- Carrera wing
2- 997.2 GT3
3-997.1 GT3
4-Misha Wing
5-Techart Type 3
6- GT3-TEK Wing
7-GT2 Style wing
8-GT3 RS Style
+
9- 997 Duck Tail Classic
10- Turbo Wing - OEM if you have about $10,000 for parts- labour you can do this- BEST LOOKING WING but way too expensive- **I do believe gettyDesign makes one for the NB but it doesn't go up and down

Yes but will this fit a narrow body? i heard you have to use OEM parts and its over $10,000 to get Turbo wing on narrow body-
PS: i know Getty Design makes one that doesn't move that looks like Turbo but have never seen it on anyones cars and no clear pics of it - if someone has the Turbo Spoiler on a NB 997 NOT A C4S lets see a pic-

That car was indeed a 997.1 NB C2. See this F/S thread for details:

The wing itself is plug and play. It's true that the wing is 10K from Porsche new, but you can find used ones at deeply discounted prices (got mine on the board for a great deal).
Just to illustrate the possibility, here is another 997.2 C2S with a turbo wing:

Great, i'll add it to the list- its the best looking wing IMO but the cost & work to move the air ducts etc maybe even over $10,000

+1 RS wing
You can find used turbo wing for around $2K-ish, all you need to do is change your air intake to an aftermarket one, since with the oem intake there is no space for the wing's hydraulics.

Thanks for doing this.
I've been think of adding something to the rear.
Are these two the same thing?
Who makes the top one?
Im guessing its a copy of the techart??
