Am i missing a part off this Aero Bumper i bought?

Just got my aero bumper from a 6speed member - i know the openings on the side people usually put Mesh Grills- but i always see the middle part with plastic or something black there-

Am i missing that part? or is this part already on the car and when i take my original regular bumper off it will be there?

i've marked what i'm asking about

Yes. The retaining frame (part # 997 505 541 01) should be already on your car. The C2, C2S, and GT3 all use the same part.

I am not sure that is correct. Retaining frame only if you have a third radiator. There should be a cover if you do not have the third radiator.

I do not know if there is a cover on the stock bumper. May fit if there is.

I have an extra retaining frame lying around if you don't have the third radiator and decide to get one.

I believe the center cover from your stock bumper will fit.

There are two version of the retaining frame.
  • 99750554101 is for cars with a center radiator (like the GT3 and 997s with tiptronic). It's the frame around the radiator.
  • 99750554100 is for 997s without a center radiator. It's the black plastic that you see in the center opening of your bumper.
Whichever one you currrently have will work with the GT3 bumper.

You can see the relevant parts diagrams at autoatlanta.com or jimellisporscheparts.com.
