Hello all!
I'm new here and just wanted to say hi.
I'm looking to purchase a 2006 991.1 C4S.
I got the carfax and it was clean, and had the dealer do a PPI on the car and it was flawless.
I'm excited to get this car. I'm hoping to learn a lot of information about 997s and what upgrades I can get for it. I've already done some searching and have learned a lot.

hello, I'm a noob too....have had mine a little over a month.....
I didn't do any research or anything......was stopping by the dealer to ask about a
Cayman......then found out there was not one there........
so I caught this Targa with me eye......never having driven a Porsche before.....came back for a test drive, and told the man I would come tomorrow with cash......
he said, "oh, I'm off tomorrow"......so I let him have the day because he needed to do something.......then I came back a day later and brought it home! been loving it ever since....
had a carbon canister replaced under warranty.....tried an aftermarket horn; that the dealer installed improperly, causing a board to fry......and the horn too...(it was an air horn)but they made everything right on their dime-as they should have, and now I'm back to happy driving again.....also just some new wheels and meats so I'm even more excited now......

Yes, I'm looking at mods right now. I'm just trying to figure out what would be the best free flowing exhaust? I'm just wondering if the Fabspeed X pipe is worth it or not? I know I looked at a couple threads about it.
It's a nice guards red color, pics will be up soon after I get the car.
I'm in Lancaster County, PA, so about an hour from Philadelphia.
Anybody know any good routes? I know some country roads here are pretty nice with the turns and twists.
