Is this suppose to be THIS loose?


I think I know the answer, but just in case:

Is that suppose to be that loose? There is a lot of play when I moved it around.

Looks like you lost the bolt by the latch that holds the air box in place.

Nope. There are three rubber grommets, not bolts , that hold the air box in place. Two black ones on the bottom that fit into the frame and them the two long plastic posts on the bottom of the box. Third is blue and visable when looking at the center of the box near the rear hood latch. They are all basically a press fit.
Possible you will find the bottom grommets still in the frame holes just in the wrong holes or pushed through the holes and sitting in the frame rail. Correct holes are the first and third holes , left to right, on the passenger side of the engine bay. Blue grommet might be in the engine bay area somewhere.
There is also a plastic clasp type hold down on about midway up the intake snorkle on the back that attaches to the silver looking pipe that runs behind the snorkle.
