Wish You Had A Laser Jammer?

Do you wish you had a laser jammer / shifter installed? Like what comes with a Escort 9500ci. Or are you content with laser warning like in the V1 or Escort 9500ix?

We are not debating which detector is best here, simply do you wish you had laser jamming / shifter capability?

I've never been ticketed since adding the V1, and it's not for a lack of trying.

Don't really need it. I have a 9500ix and have only heard the laser warning once in 3 years.

Thats interesting. I understand here in the Phoenix area only the motorcycle cops carry laser - but I do see them regularly.

I have K40 installed radar in front and rear bumper, laser diffuser/shifter on the front. 2 years and about 20k miles.
Here in MD, Pa, Nj, Ny, nc, ga, al, va, la I have seen 95% of the time radar and 5% laser. no tickets not even pulled over and I usually drive above and beyond the speed limit.

I installed shifters this summer when I got a $400 tickets heading up to VT. In MA 90% of police use lidar. Once your detector goes off to warn you, you're already owned. Your radar/laser detector is useless.

Here in CA, I have been tagged twice by presumably laser. V1 didn't detect anything.

I wish laser interceptor doesn't need installation. It seems silly that they need to be installed with all the bluetooth and wireless technology out there today.

I Have the V1 hard wired in the "open space" of my S55 due to the windscreed coating, been lucky for years with just the "Alert" ... Last Christmas work with Cliff @ www.laser-interceptorusa.com for a great Holiday Buy on the LI-Dual rather than the LI-Quad due to some interpretations of the CA Vehicle Code, and their number of units... Been using it non-stop....been tagged a handful of times over HWY 17 (Safe) and too many times by motorcycle units on HWY 85/87/17 with the same verdict...(Safe )...Don't leave home without one!!

I don't wish; I got a laser interceptor right after I got my 997.2. I have been hit by laser twice since I got my car; once I was going 5 over limit - I don't think I would've gotten nailed. Second hit I was 10 over - saved my ***. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

It's on my list of things to get. I figure when I do the 3rd rad I will do this's at the same time. I didn't think Laser Jammers are illegal in North Carolina.

I have K40 installed radar in front and rear bumper, laser diffuser/shifter on the front. Have not had any tickets. Interesting enough... I think the "warnings" you get from the system make you look at your speed and ease up a bit too. On freeways, the cops are just trying to get on your tail by hpping lanes and hiding behind trucks etc. Last week I saw a cop with a radar gun on an on-ramp in San Jose. I thought that was illegal but it was getting to the end of the month.. quota.. revenue etc .. desperation perhaps??
