Arrow Suncoast for center caps?

Hello drivers....

just wondering if anyone had purchased center caps, for considerable lower prices than dealer, from Suncoast, and did you/do you like the quality of the material?

thanx in advance

Suncoast is a Porsche dealer in FL. I have purchased floor mats and side markers from them. They are reliable.

Suncoast is great. I've bought several pieces from them. (Leather PDK surround, paddle steering wheel and some minor things like floor mats and a license plate surround)

People often use harsh wheel cleaners meant for aluminum surfaces, which the center caps have a tendency to not handle well. You might think it's just normal exposure to the elements, but I believe that normal exposure is exacerbated by some wheel cleaners. It's been my experience fwiw.

Not sure where you are in NC, but I found that my selling dealer will match Suncoast's prices - all I did was ask. I'm one of those "support your local dealer" (whenever possible) guys.

Having said that, I have purchased a few items from Suncoast over the past couple years, and their customer service was always excellent.

I've bought OEM and non-OEM from various sources. EBay was my worst experience. The silver color was slightly off and the caps kept coming loose, popping out a half inch. Every time I walked by I had to kick them back in before getting in the car.

Had issues with Maxspeed's version tool. The red paint on the crest peeled within the first few car washes.

In the end I bought OEM and spent way more trying to save a little since I had to try a few times to get it right. Normally I'm an aftermarket equivalent type of guy (Bosch wipers, WIX oil filters, etc.). But for center caps OEM is the only way to go!

My previous 997S had turbo wheels. The caps were showing some age, even though the car only had 30K miles. Took my car to San Antonio Porsche dealer for a service. Noticed when I got home they had replaced my caps, free of charge!
