interesting car

i think this must be leather to sample... it looks like terracotta color but the leather itself looks like what you see in BMWs different texture, but that could also be the seemingly hi def pics, anyway, everyone loves a picture or 12... http://home.mobile.de/PORSCHE-HEILBRONN#des_169757844 and i don't think whoever ordered it missed any possible extra bits to be covered...the back seat seat belt clasps et al...

If I had ordered that car, I would have been very tempted to go the rest of the way, and eliminate the rest of the faux aluminum trim. Door handles, steering wheel hub, glove box latch, shift boot trim, etc. Hell I didn't go that far on my Boxster, but I am already working on door handles and glove box latch.

I really love the look of the stitched leather panel around the vents, and the leather vents themselves.

In Germany there are few if any packages. Everything is an optional extra, and they offer more extras there than here by a long shot.

It looks like a "full exclusive" package. Scared thinking on how much he had to pay for it.

a4ep is infamous around these parts
What i also find interseting is that the other 997.2 cars on the site that did't overdo the leather have the Volcano Grey trim all over the car, unlike our North American spec cars that went to the aluminum look on all the dash trim.

From what I can tell, it looks like everything is covered in leather, including the speakers. Kind of strange that the speaker grills are in black, as is the shift console, and steering wheel. I suppose it was done for contrast. Also agree that the leather doesn't look like typical Porsche leather we get in the US. I don't actually care for that texture, especially in that color, reminds me of a basketball. I would have preferred the natural leather.

yes, a basketball, and yes porsche's natural beats that, and most others i think, though i'm not familiar with connolly or other high end leathers, and here i may be making an assumption about connolly, as i am not familiar with that either
