997.2 C2 exhaust?

Is the 997.2 standard carrera exhaust the same as the 997.2 C2S? I am investigationg buying an extra set of cans to Gundo and want to make sure all 997.2s (non GT3 or Turbo) have the same exhaust. Thanks.

A4ep, there was a post yesterday that provided a down load able link to 997 parts catalog. Title was; "want a PET 997 carreras parts catalog", submitted by cam99. If you down load and check out pages 55 & 56 for the muffler parts explosion. There may be different since multiple model numbers are listed. Hope this helps.

I'm having the Porsche Sport Exhaust installed as I type this message. I will have a set of cans available for sale by Wednesday. Here are the specs:
2010 Carrera 4s

I live in Wilmington, Delaware

Let me know if they will work on your Porsce.
Charlie

i don't believe they are the same. Different diameter from what I had heard 3.6 vs 3.8 engines.

Just Gundo your own stock OEM cans and don't look back!! Worse comes to worst, look for a set of used cans later. Believe me, you won't need to. Either you'll love the gundo setup or you'll end up getting something even louder (and pricey to boot). I absolutely love mine. It took me a year of hemming and hawing to do it. What a wasted year.

I just upgraded my 2011 997.2 cab, to PSE and have a set of OEM cans with about 3500 miles on them. Have OEM tips and dash switch as well to sell.

Let me know if you are interested

I was about to tell the OP I was very close to doing the Gundo Hack, after researching I ran into slightly used Cargraphic mufflers for less than half price. To me this is a much better option, I can easily change my car back to stock and sell them for close to what I bought them for if I ever sell the car, also you save some weight to boot.
