I see it packed tight on that trailer... scary. Did I miss the details on where it came from??? I see it s a C2S like mine, so if you have summer tires like I do we will be waiting for the right weather.

I had another thread up on where it came from. Purchased it from Chicago so had a fairly long journey across to me through some pretty foul weather.
Yes summer tires really only meant to allow me take advantage of the good weather days. The cavalier is my daily driver. Really hoping we get as lucky as last year with the good weather in March would be nice to be able to celebrate my birthday by being able to drop the top on a enjoy a wonderful spring day.

wow, I remember mine coming off the truck looking similar (mine arrived from NY on 1/12) It was on a bottom rack and some rusty looking stuff from the top rack had dripped all over the soft top. I nearly panicked with all the salt and other crap all over it...I washed the body and cleaned the top immediately. I was very happy that all of that stuff came off. GREAT looking car man!

Those look great. Is it exactly the same light pack on a cab as the coupe?
@jmh05scab I need to wash the top but haven't got a clue about the best way to do it. Was a bit of a panic wash as I didn't get the car until 4 pm and knew it was more or less going to have to stand for a week with the salt on it. So I had to rush it through as quickly as possible. The water was freezing as soon as it hit the tarmac and I was using some pretty hot water to get the clean done

your manual gives cleaning instructions.....I didn't follow them. hehe....I just used car wash and a very soft bristle brush to spot clean the top, then rinsed it off. Worked fine. I bascially never clean the top unless something like that gets on it. I do however use one of those tape rollers for lint/hair every time I wash it. The roller works very well for general care. If the car is garaged...and if it's not a DD especially, I wouldn't even worry about using any type of protectant,sealant,conditioner...the top on my M3 never needed it and this top is just as well made. But then again, the soft top on mine never gets wet unless it's a little splash from washing it.

That would be great, need someone to show me where the best driving routes are. Love the car with the ducktail.
Is it ok of I use the picture in a hub page I am writing about my 911 buying experience.
