San Francisco Road Trip

Just took a 1150 mile trip to San Francisco and back from Orange County. Was just me wife could not get time off so went solo.

Took my time and stopped at Pismo Beach both on the way up and back.

No flat tires, my biggest concern, car ran like a dream. CHP was out in force along 101 so had to watch speed. So many people getting tickets.

Car was very comfortable, a few places the road noise was rather loud especially around Santa Barabara. Just turned up the radio and it was not a problem.

911 is a great road trip car no matter what the distance. A few pictures from the trip.

I stayed two days in Pacific and saw another black 911 both days in the morning (heading off to work I assume) anyone on here live in Pacific ?

This brings a lot of memories. I used to go to college at UC Santa Barbara and my parents lived in the Bay Area, so I did the PCH/101 trip frequently! O, how I wish I could have afforded a Porsche back then. I did have a TR6 and that was a lot of fun, save for the severe sunburn I always got.
