Just wanted to take a moment to thank all the forum members that pointed me in the direction of Chris Sterling at Grand Auto Works in Irvine, CA.

I couldn't be more happy with the work he completed on my 2007 C2S. From the moment I stepped in to his shop I knew my car was in good hands. He was honest and kept me informed throughout the whole process and managed to save me some money that I will probably later spend on Mods anyway. If you have any doubts about your Indy and live in So Cal then go see Chris!!!!

The Gundo hack sounds amazing. Clean welds and straight work. Clutch is butter. RMS is RMS but he found it before I did and hooked me up.

I feel like I know more about my 997 than ever before and am looking forward to working with Chris again when I convert my front end and ECU tune.

I will post some photos this weekend.

Ditto for Chris Sterling. Chris completed the Gundo hack on my 997.1 C2S yesterday. He was very professional and showed me his welds prior to install. Very nice work. The sound is great -- loud, but not annoying. Thanks Chris

 

I should note that the dept. Chris is in charge of is Sterling Auto Concepts. This should help any forum members looking for the right guy in charge.
