Question Help with a very odd question...

Does anyone know the distance between the right and left muffler inlets (where the cats go)? See the picture below since my choice of words may be poor

I'm only asking because I have CG Sport mufflers and measured my distance to be around 22 inches. For the last few days I have been trying to figure out how to put on the fabspeed catless x-pipe, which unfortunately measures around 26 inches. Apparently my fabspeed catless x-pipe was already pre-cut to fit so there isnt much left I can take off from it... So I'm wondering if my CG muffler inlets are just that much longer than OEM (the above picture is not of my car)? Any advice would be MORE than appreciated! Thanks guys!

No one huh? My oem cats fit perfectly so I'm hoping the 22 inch space isn't an anomaly.
