Strut Replacement Advice

Need some advice. I have 05 C2S with 47k miles which I think the struts are going. The car bounces a little when driven on slighty uneven roads without pasm engaged. Is it worth looking into aftermarket replacement or stick with oem?
Thanks guys!

You might want to check into a set of Bilstein Damptronics. They are compatible with your PASM system and most likely a lot cheaper than OEM.

Is it possible the struts are worn in 47k miles? I would be really surprised if they were.

agreed, first check if theyre worn or if there is another (bigger) issue. then i would def go with something aftermarket. why not - you're already outlaying the $$, why no get something better than OEM. I have bilstein damps on my PASM 06S. love them on street and track.

I have one front and two rear struts with 9k miles on them if you're interested. My front driver had a small bend in it so I'm not selling that one.

When I purchased my car it had a bad driver side rear shock which was leaking. I also experienced the bouncy ride you mentioned. I ended up picking up a set of low mileage (2k) OEM shocks from another member for a fraction of the cost of a new replacement. I swapped the suspension myself and haven't had any issues since then. You may want to look on e-bay or put a WTB thread in the FS section.

My car had 59k miles when the shock went on it.
