What is a gundo hack???

Thanks so much for all the answers you guys have given me over the last few weeks! Learning alot.

 

Use the search feature on the forum but it's basically a full time Porsche sport exhaust system. Its a pipe that connects the inbound and outbound pipes of each muffler. Google gundo hack or fister exhaust and you will see it. it makes your car sound the way it should have from the factory for little money.
It is named after one of the members of this forum or rennlist that did this mod several years ago.

 

Also u can search on YouTube, there are some video to show how does the gundo sound

 

If you decide to do this I'd recommend that you contact Darin at FD Motorsports in Brentwood, CA. I installed a set of his Fister mufflers earlier this month and absolutely love them! Darin was so easy to deal with and a true professional. The weld job on my mufflers is top notch and the car sounds amazing.

I have a 07 c4s with PSE is this still something I can do?

 

Well, the factory has already done it for you.

 

+1. The PSE is basically the Gundo/Fister hack with an electronic baffle that can open and close the partial muffler bypass. Or would it be better to say that a Gundo hack is simply a PSE that's always open?
