Maybe I am just old school but I cringe when I hear motors being free-revved like that. Sounds like it was getting close to redline there. Not saying anything about it mechanically, maybe new motors are fine doing that, I just was taught never to free-rev a motor.

In my experience with American, Japanese and German performance cars, in every case the aftermarket hardware providers shoot for increased horsepower- and this comes with a decrease on the bottom end.
Sorry to say it but the best torque you're going to get is factory stock (including the paper air filter). You can make it sound much better, and go harder on the top end with mods, but for seat in the back torque, go stock.

Yeh, just sad at the fact that when u want speed off the mark it, it is very sluggish. sure u can drive 4000rpm+ and switch on first gear but then it completely defeats the purpose of having an automatic aswell

Anyone have any luck fixing it with a ecu tune?

i just did 200 cell cats on my car and honestly its the oem cats that restrict the cars power.. i have lost the deep tone i once had with the pse.. but performance is much better
