Will PSM prevent that?

Hi all,
Been Watching many video of exotics and end up on exoticscrash compilation.
If you look at this video as an example.
(agreed, not an exotic. Just an example)

we see the guy sliding to the left, which is what I likedoing with the 997 at a much small scale . But then we see the back of the car comingback hard to the right. Will PSM prevent this kind of behavior (coming backhard to the opposite side)

Thanks J

due to the heavy rear, the 911 will try to keep swinging in one direction. PSM will help a little but there is no button for idiot...

If you have the traction control on, the car will not spin it's wheels. It will close the throttle even if you floor it. Therfore, it is only possible if you turn off PSM.

The big issue with the mustang video is the driver over-correcting instead of steering into the drift - there is a whole sport of sliding the car sideways that you can watch too...

Self control and common sense will also prevent that.

Psm will limit the amount of tire spin so that when one or more tires lose traction, it applies the abs and limits throttle. It's meant to help you from spinning in a corner. In the 997, it will allow a little kick out and in sport mode it will allow a little more.
