Is it something I should be worried about? How can I get rid of it?

I just bought some PSE mufflers that had 5K miles on them and came from the east coast and they looked like your exhaust. I used some tire dressing (don't laugh - this stuff cleans anything) and a 3M fine scuff pad and the mufflers came out looking almost new.

I don't know if it really matters but I wanted them to be clean when they went on my car. Here in CA the exhaust and the bottom of the cars don't really get bad. Good luck.

Pretty common in places with a lot of rain. You could always get a fancy stainless or titanium system, otherwise you just need to clean it up every now and then.

Normal. Might clean up with some metal polish.

Perfectly normal, perfectly health, hit them with some super fine steel wool and they will clean right up. My car looked the same way until my OCD kicked in one rainy florida afternoon and a 6 pack later the pipes had a shine to them. You go mid evil on the with a power drill and metal brush if you are feeling crazy.

I didn't worry at all about mine, but after my gundo hack I noticed they were totally shined up. They guy took his time and not only did the welding but cleaned them up for me. Now I have to say it's worth cleaning. You can see them after all, although not super obviously. Curious people will bend down to look under there and I'm sure it's more impressive to see gleen and not rust.

Being in the keys we get that rust and is completely normal. The Porsche however is not a normal car so I have no problem cleaning it up from time to time.
