I like the flat yet soft sheen to the look. Let me know when you can or PM what was entailed in the job and cost for it if you don't mind.

Have seen them with the center painted black and the rims left silver. While not a fan of black wheels. The silver rim offsets the all black look and on a silver car looks great. The wheels I saw had only the centers including the claws painted black. The part of the rim where the claws attach was all silver along with the outside lip.

In PCA Full Concours, it is truly "really serious"! Having crests aligned and pointing at the valve stem could be the deciding factor in winning or losing.
Full Concours people are in a slightly different orbit than most other regular Porsche owners and will go to unbelievable lengths to make sure everything is beyond perfect. I know because I used to be there. I brought a 1955 356 back to life and went Full and won Class and then Division.
Then.....I drove the **** out of it!!!!

Lobsters are beautiful especially when they are painted. I think they would look good in bright colours too. Has anyone out there done that yet?

Is true the the locking bolt must also lined up between the crest point and the valve?

I'm thinking of this look, but it seems like the rim gets lost in the black color. I may do the same, but leave the edge of the rim in silver to set it off a bit.

Trying to decide on painting or powder coating. Decisions...decisions.
