i bought the OEM leather cleaner and conditoner. i really like them in terms of the cleaner i dont really use it or will be using it too much since the seats do not really get dirty. But the conditioner is definitely something that i will be using at least a couple of times per year since it really makes the leather to feel like new

That swissvax looks pretty cool, but the picture of the M3 certainly look like a different color Red where they used it, but it does look much better. Why would you need to do this for normal up keep?

Normal up keep I am more than likely going with Zaino, everyone I know that has done so loves it.
I've used lexol a lot before in the 80s and 90s and I hate the greasy residue it leaves. Back then there was no competition, but now there are a lot of options out there that are better.

Got it, it does leave a little shine, now I understand what your saying.

I am looking forward to trying the Zaino I have, I heard it does not leave that and it also brings back the leather smell.

Thank you for Clarifying.

That is a loaded question, I have tried a ton of stuff and always go back to Zaino. Prep is the most important part IMO.

True. One can spend 10 dollars to 10,000 dollars on waxes. Some sealants might look better on white and light silver cars too. I guess the question should be what's the best wax for X amount of dollars.

Some waxes look better on certain colors. And some last much longer than others. Some do not last as long, but are "show car" waxes that look brighter, wetter, and deeper.

Coatings are also popular for those who want protection and shine without having to wax every few months. Some of these last a few years and some are supposedly permanent.

Zaino confuses me. There's multiple products that seem like the same thing then there's the accelerator or something like that which you mix in with it. And zaino isn't a wax. It's synthetic.

Prep isn't that hard. Anyone can do it if you're willing to put in some time learning and getting some decent tools. Watch a ton of youtube videos and read up on how to machine polish and hope you have a friend that has some experience with it that can show you how to do it.

I use leather masters products. They are a leather care company with auto leather care products. Results are excellent in my experience.

Leather master is a good company too. I have some foaming leather product I use on my alcantara. I probably should buy a dedicated alcantara cleaner. Swissvax has one, but its really expensive. I will probably try the race glaze alcantara cleaner first.

If you want to care for your leather...

You may want to check out SKUFF Protective Coatings. It's a protective finish for leather that conditions, shines, and protects from water/dirt/stains/scuffs. Website: www.skuff.us
