Clear Bra Installation
Have an appointment with Premier wondering if i should go with precut or custom wrap on partial bra ? only replacing partial cause that is what is on now, and do not want to cover up any existing chips, any recomendations on chip repairs, minimal but noticeable to me !

I've wondered about them. They have been recommended to me. When I replace my wrap I'm going with custom full hood, bumper, fenders and mirrors. Won't be cheap so it will have to wait. I have a couple of dings on my hood, I'm just going over them with the wrap. Can't get worse.
Let me know your outcome....$$ and quality. Pics of course!!

contact Bob Willis at auto concierge, he's a detailing guru and should be able to repair the minor chips on your hood

I think he's right near premier so should be easy enough to have him assess your car. Trust me you won't be disappointed. tell him Artin says hi
btw post some pics of before and after too when you're done

The custom wraps are not computer cut. They are big sheets and the installer cuts after they fold over fenders, hoods, doors, ect. I watched a Lambo get done this way. Comes out nice and the edges don't show when they are finished.
Premier also did a Bugatti where they wrapped the entire car! All custom.

Wrap or Custom clear bra
Accodingly to Sam at Premier there is about almost a three hundred $ difference and needs to know a few days before installation, said that pre cut will have edges and custom will not, also having stock rear lower fender panels done at same time.

Guys there is a massive difference between a precut and custom wrap. I have a precut on my golf gti. It is really obviously there and while it does protect the front and looks better than the front car covers people sometimes put on there cars it doesn't look as good as the car would if it had nothing on. A custom cut is wrapped behind the edges so you have to work seriously hard to even see anything is on there.
My car is currently in getting wrapped at the moment with Unique Car Care in Wakefield MA. Take a look at the right up this guy did on a 997 coupe they wrapped before. http://www.autopia.org/forum/click-b...-car-care.html
I went down to see them before I made the plunge and the cars that he was working on looked better than new when finished. He had a lovely 997 turbo in and it was intricately wrapped around the custom bumper the guy had installed. I didn't think it was even wrapped until the guy showed me the tucks they had hidden behind the lights which they actually remove along with the badge when they do it. These detailers really do incredible work

Here is another one they did on a 997 Turbo which is in a darker colour so you can more easily see what's going on

Went for detail had a lot of swirls in paint. Then for full clear on the front bumper, hood, side mirrors and on the rear humps. Partial on side front panels. Would have liked full but ran out of budget so will get them done later.
