Performance Porsche

Performance Porsche of Chapel Hill (my local dealership) in the last month for one service has required me to call and leave a message for their service manager 4 times to book an appointment. After calling the general manager I finally get an appointment made. During the service they leave a huge scratch all the way down the side of my door, so I ask for it to be repainted. After talking to a couple people they finally agree to repaint the door, I come to pick up the car at closing time a week later get the keys and the airbag warning light is on. I was leaving for a trip to the Dragon the following day so I didn't want to leave the car over night. I decided to make a quick stop at Porsche of Greensboro on the way to the Dragon, they take my car and fix it in 15 minutes. They say it is probably from the removal of the passenger side door during paint. I called the service manager of Performance and leave a message, I haven't got a response yet and it's been 4 days. At this point I'm infuriated and have decided to never take my car there again, and drive to either Lieth or Greensboro. I have had 4 Porsches and have never had an experience like this at any Porsche dealership.

The way we vote is with our wallets. I would be equally upset.

I would, but they fixed it perfectly, my issue is how many times I had to call them, the fact they scratched it in the first place, and that they sent it out of the shop with an airbag warning light on.

tiyyara is infamous around these parts
my experience

I had a mishap with a North East dealer. I was brushed off over the phone by the contact person.
I wrote a nice letter to the dealer, sent it certified. Sent a copy to Porsche of NA in Atlanta with a cover letter explaining the situation.
Solved within 48 hours
