Exhaust tips are too low

Is there any way to adjust the postion of the exhaust tips on my 997? The left one hangs down lower than the right. And even the right one seems a bit too low in my opinion.

When I push on the tips and mufflers, there is no play or movement at all. The outputs from the cats seem to be rock solid.

Thanks, Dere

yes, you can adjust the tips... just loosen the bolt under the tips and move them around... you can push them in, out, left, right, up and down...

I had a similar issue and tried adjusting at the tips but it never looked right. When I had my Porsche Exhaust System (PSE) installed I asked the dealer to fix it. The dealer had to adjust the exhaust on one side to get a perfect match.

If you can't get the desired positioning via the bolts under the tips, you can loosen the three (pain in the neck) bolts on the muffler bracket and try to reposition the tips then retighten the muffler bolts.
