Only airbags in a 997 C4S are inside the car. Have 'em put it on the lift and show you the air bag suspension. Tell 'em you're really interested in how they work and would love to see them. Take pictures for all of us as if they are there your car is singularly unique as Porsche doesn't offer an air bag suspension for any 911. ( Or the car was lowered and the owner installed aftermarket lifting air bags designed to raise the car temporarily while traversing speed bumps or high angle driveway transition ramps.) No need to align the car unless it's out of alignment. (Got my car in April of 2008 and still haven't had to align it.)
Enjoy your car and given your experience with the dealer so far, better check in here before you act on any of their advice.

He may be confused between "air suspension" and PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management). Otherwise your car has been modified, and I doubt would receive CPO certification.
