HELP! fixed wing issues, dash light

Hi guys, I have a Vorstiner fixed wing on my car and regarding to this forum I needed a "cable loom" and a reprogram to disable my stock 911 rear engine hatch.

I got the cable loom and got my car reprogrammed but I am getting a 3rd brake light fault code.

anyone have any ideas?

the dealer said it may be a wire not connected and wanted to charge me $280 to fixed and I declined.

thanks in advance.

When I installed my fixed wing I went to the next auto parts store and bought one of these load resistors that you use when you install LED brake lights. and connected it to the two wires in the connector in your picture.
Remove the plastic around the wires til you can see the two ndividual wires and connect the resistor between them
$15 fix

Thank you for the input. Does that fix allow you to use your factory third brake light?

I have attached an image of how I installed the load resistor and an image of the product itself
The cable is - of course - normally zip-tied out of the way.

My wing is a Getty design wing, which only requires that the moveable part of the wing gets replaced with the new wingbase AND which due to it's cool design doesn't require for the wing up/down mechanism to be removed, so the car thinks it his has a wing attached.

This a few side effects.
* The "other" 3rd brake light (the one by the window) is still there and works
* No need to reprogram the DME with "no wing"
* I didn't realize but there is another brake light in the normal rear wing too:
In a non-modifed car when the wing is extended only this 3rd brake light operates (the one in the wing), when the wing is down the other 3rd brake light (the one by the window) works.
So in my case the 3rd brake light only works when the wing would be down...

Thank you for the help. I ordered the wrong wiring harness because there was some wrong info in another thread. heres to clarify:

If you have a fixed wing without a 3rd brake light you need: 997-612-670-71

If you have a wing WITH a 3rd brake light you need: 997 622 670 70

Sorry for bumping up an old thread, but using the advice given in this thread, and a couple others, I purchased the 997-612-670-71 harness in order to run a GT2 style fixed wing WITHOUT third brake light on my 2007 911 Turbo. I am still getting the "Check Raised Brake Light" error when I start the car. I've tried disconnecting the battery, and even clearing the codes with my Cobb Accessport, and it keeps coming back. When I install the OEM wing with the third brake light, all is fine.

FWIW, I haven't had the car coded yet to show as a "fixed wing" (so I am also getting the spoiler malfunction at 75mph+) but I was under the impression the harness would at least take care of the third brake light warning, and the coding was needed to fix the hydraulic malfunction warning. Do I need to get the coding done BEFORE the third brake light warning will go away? I can't see how the two would be related, but the harness didn't fix anything in my case.
