Found battery corrosion around the brace plate, so I cleaned that up and moved the battery to the side. [IMG][/IMG]

There are many different types of connectors on this car, so you have to do the old fashioned method of figuring things out. Don't force anything, there is always a method to the German madness. This piece pulls out like a lever in the rear of the amp, then it comes out easy. [IMG][/IMG]

the rubber round circle grommet on the upper right is where I ran the wires into the cabin. There is plenty of space. When I have finalized everything I will seal it up better. The grommet is on the Port or driver's side of the car behind the battery. [IMG][/IMG]

The Frunk to past the firewall grommet is here, same type grommet. You'll have to move the square thingy in front, but it is quite easy. I have no idea what this part is, but it would be right below the cd changer if you had one, and it is to the side of the dvd navigational drive which I removed as well. [IMG][/IMG]

easy with the right tools. I would say that to do this job you need to get the trim tools, and also the wire "snake" which I'll show later. [IMG][/IMG]

Behind this grommet was a seal, sort of like a plastic membrane. Well the port is no longer a virgin. I simply cut a small slit to snake the wires through. [IMG][/IMG]

to remove the pcm it was quite easy actually, just have the tools ready. Here is a link to a detailed method. I took some pictures but other threads have better tutorials.

now the back side of the pcm 2.1 once I slid it out. I think the black is the radio antenna and the yellow is the old gps wire. [IMG][/IMG]

the two orange wires are the fiber optics, the others are power, switched power, negative, and I'm not sure the rest. I used the adapter from Eurospeed which made the power and ground connections easy, and it came with an adapter for the switched power to the fuse panel. [IMG][/IMG]
