Agree - it's probably the sensor battery. Did you get a "Flat Tire" message with the warning light or did the pressure just stop showing?

Somewhat of a thread jack but my right front sensor went out the other day. Dealer asking around $350 to change the battery. Is that reasonable? First time I've had this issue and I'm out of warranty. I've heard some people here that have purchase it themselves cheaper but if the dealer is being reasonable i might just go ahead with them. Thoughts?

Battery is sealed - they replace the entire sensor. You can purchase from Tire Rack, Suncoast, and others for much less and trusted tire shop can replace.

Replace one....replace all four. Paid 1/4 of what OEM goes for online. 350 is a rip especially when you cannot replace the battery. They were going to tell you..sorry couldn't do it...here is a new one! Just one. You can get all 4 for less online. I believe they are 33 MHz and your good to go.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll check online for the parts and take it to my tire shop. Makes sense to replace all four. Cheers.
