Cabrio Top Issue

Wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, takes a few 'attempts' to get the top to fold down and the rear deck to close. It gets to the point where the top folds up and is attempting to stow itself in the fully closed position but its having trouble settling in there somehow. Have to play with the switch a few times to get it settled in and when the rear deck does close the driver information screen beeps after a few seconds and says the 'top pins are not engaged' - or something like that. Goes away though and does not usually repeat itself.

Tried lubing up whatever hinge points that I can see visibly, I don't hear any binding and certainly the top is warm / in the sun when the attempts are made to lower it so not sure what could be going on.

Is there some type of alignment adjustments that anyone is aware of ? Where are these engagement pins? No issue when it comes back out / and up of course...

Maybe debris in the stow area? It just a guess but try and partially close it and then get in there with a flashlight and vacuum with the crevice attachment.

Turned out to be a 'Calibration Issue' dealer dude said. While there for some minor maintenance they plugged it into the Porsche super computer (laptop) and reset the sensor data or whatever, no charge.

All of a sudden it works faster too...

Who knows!

Glad to hear nothing major. Hate the fact that there are so many "computers" in these little cars.
