Ok, so after my first venture into the 911 world (I purchased a 2001 996 Cab 3 years ago), I am ready to trade it in for a 997. I have my eye on a 2006 C4S with 45k miles.

1. Why is it so hard to find 997 cabs? Seems like most are coupes for sale.

2. I found one in Houston (I am in NYC), but I need to find someone to do a good PPI. The dealerships in Houston do not do PPIs. I was surprised because when I bought my 996 I had 4 different dealers around the coutnry do a PPI before I found the one that was good for me.

Any reccomendations?

1) summertime = peak cab season = harder to find + more expensive

2) try a good independent shop. Also have someone on here check the car out for you first.

Hennessy or Momentum Porsche would be the first places I would try.
