PDK paddle shifter OEM wheel - will a later one fit a 2009?

these come in 2 flavors, an 09 specific one, and a 2010+ one. The difference is lights for sport/+ built into the wheel.

any idea if a later one would fit an 09 (connectors same etc) with the understanding the lights wont work... ?

thanks

Yes. It will fit. Just no PDK/Sport/Sport Plus illumination.

Can confirm from personal experience. The non-illuminated lights are undetectable as they are in the black areas of the wheel.

It positively changes the driving experience. Made this part of my first bundle of upgrades/mods within a week of ownership.

So the connectors are exactly the same? is there a specific connector for the sport lights that gets left un-connected? thanks

I had a new OEM wheel manufactured for a 2012 turbo installed on my '09 with no issues - wonderful upgrade. Sport/plus lights weren't available in 2009 so cannot be connected. I dont notice the labels as they are clear within the black portion of the wheel.
