Thought on buying this C2S.....input please.

I am interested in this 2009 C2S and have purchase it contingent on a PPI:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2dr-C...t_35030wt_1165

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with the dealer, C and P Imports?

I think the price seems a bit high, but it looks like a very nice low mileage car. Please let me now if the price is fair. I have made a refundable deposit so don't hold back.

If any has access to a carfax, please forward to me. The dealer will send it on Monday, but a current one would be good to see.

Any other comments will be appreciated. I am a longtime Porsche owner but haven't bought since 2002 so I am a bit cautious and would value all input.

It's a high end auto car wash that's attached to the dealer. I've washed my wife's car there for the last two winters. They always have a ton of high end cars inside the detail area which is like a private barn. I am assuming based on this listing that they sell the cars. They are a legitimate business if that helps. Lots of customers on the car wash side.

Best way is to go in person and talk to the sales people to feel them out. If you feel pressured or something doesn't feel right, it's for a reason.

Price seems OK, I would never buy a car from a Used Car lot unless I knew them well. I know way to many of them that are shady as can be. That is just my 2 cents. Either CPO or Private Owner is my preference.

the price seems right, the car looks great but I d have it checked out then I d be happy to get that car when I was looking at my 09 CS. I paid several thousand more last year for my CPO car from a P dealer. Never pay what they ask either way. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I would certainly rather buy from a Porsche dealer, but I have looked pretty hard and there are not many available that check off enough boxes on my want list. I will have a Porsche dealer perform the PPI and will also try to get some local eyes on it, but ultimately, must resort to my gut. It looks like a really nice and clean car. I was unsure about the price and thought it might be too high, but it seems OK according to the replies I got here and on Renn.

BTW, please email me if there is anything to share or info about the dealer that may not be appropriate for public viewing on the forum.

Thanks,
Brad

There can't be much of the original warranty remaining.

Anyone ever done two (2) PPIs? I have done it twice and it gave me super relief. Both dealers gave 99% similar results. Differences were minor stuff like wipers needing replacements, etc.

For those still wondering about double PPIs, I had to do it bcoz some kid who had a 1.5-year-old Supra Turbo which he had bought for $60,000.00+ was selling me the car for $7,500.00. That's correct: $7,500.00. Too good to be true!!!!

Bottom line: the sale was real and the kid's father was a gazillionaire and he has a farm of exotic cars in his barn.

Car looks fine. I'd just wait to see what the PPI says. I spent over a year looking for mine. It's hard to find a car optioned the way you want it. So sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and pay a little more.

PPI won't catch everything. Mine was from a Porsche Dealer and the pressure plate broke the 2nd day I had it. It's nothing any mechanic is going to find. They don't go and take apart the car. Luckily I have warranty.
