Finally Pulled the Trigger

All,

I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know I am now the proud owner of my first Porsche - 2009 911 C4S PDK w/ Launch Control. After tons of advice from friends, late night research on 6speed, and a long search for the right car to become available I traded up from my 2006 CTS-V.

I haven't had a chance to put her through her paces yet, but I will say my morning commute has never been more fun.

A few quick photos of taking it home.

Oh my that's a beauty, congrats on your purchase. I think the first modification needs to be some Clear Side Markers Have you been looking for a while ? What's the mileage ?

The sides markers are definitely on the list. The list keeps getting longer and I need to prioritize.

I started semi-looking mid last year, but got serious about it in Jan. It's right at 6,500 miles. The previous owner had several high end cars and this one didn't make her rotation very often.

Oh wow that's barely broken in. As far as modifications go, I would get some miles under your belt and see what you really want to do with it or what direction your thinking of going with it. Enjoy, you have a stunning example and go eat some Joe T's for me

I'm debating about the doing the full wrap with the venture shield or just the front bumper, hood, front fender and the side mirrors. My thought is the front pillars are also possible rock chip areas and having the doors done would help just in case a door ding may occur. Any thoughts?

not sure why i was expecting a blue 997.. but congratulations !

unless you are doing a full wrap to change color or worried about people keying your car, i would suggest just doing the front end (hood, bumper, lights, door edges and possibly the A-pillar)

Thanks. I'm not worried about keying and have no interest in changing the color. Mostly just the door dings since it's a daily driver.

+1, just do the front, full wrap is a bit overboard.
