Good deal on Champion RG5 wheels?
Hope everyone is well and that summer driving is treating you well...been away for a while due to some work travels.
I found this irresistible deal on ebay other day for RG5 wheels on my NB 997.2 and without hesitation bought them. They seem too cheap to be true and I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were.
After I made the purchase, it appears the Paypal account goes to Porsche of Maplewood, MN.

Reasonable deal. I would only note that these are narrow body wheels (which you know and have a nb car) and that the current run of rg5s are specd with more aggressive offsets and the sizes are 19x9 and 19x12. I have a set and really like them.

Thanks guys. I was stoked to see them pop up at this price, new. Fingers crossed they show up as advertised..

They are older, but brand new forged wheels for that price is great. I'm sure you'll enjoy them. Do NOT go to the dealer and get ripped off for tpms at $300 each! They can easily be found for $200 a set plus installation, but you need tire mounting and balance anyway

Appreciate the advice, I have been keeping up with the TPMS here learning from you all and definitely will not be getting them the P-dealer.
Going to order 235/295 Pliot Super Sports as soon as the wheels arrive. My stock wheels are 19x8 (235), 19x11 (295) on Carrera Classic II's with PS2 tires and I will be selling those since I would have no use for them- any thoughts on what a reasonable asking price should be?
(front tires are almost gone, rears only have 4K miles on them with one being plugged/ patched from a nail biter)

We still make them in 8.5 and 11.5 for both narrow body and wide body too. The 9 and 12 sizing is still an option too.

I wanted to wait until I get them mounted with pix up to say this- but much of my knowledge behind research for these wheels was thanks in large part to you Ken! Appreciate everything -yes, looking forward to 305's in the rears

Tom, your wheels have serial numbers and production date stamps right?
I'd ask the seller to post pics of those before I spend money on those wheels. There are so many knock offs out there, you can't be too sure.
