babyburner is infamous around these parts
I get it when I don't start it for a little while (more than a week) and it lasts for about 2 minutes.

I'll give you my 2 cents on this as I believe it is related to overfill.

When I bought my 07 turbo last year I had it serviced immediately at my local dealership including an oil change. The car would smoke intermittently at start up just as you described. After about 2000 miles the smoking completely disappeared, and I noticed the oil level was about half a quart low (normal oil consumption). I carefully topped it off and ensured I didn't overfill and haven't had it smoke once in the past 6 months

Granted this is my personal experience and just an N of 1 but I'm betting the dealerships might overfill by 1/2 a quart or so and this is part of the reason we get smoke upon startup. As others have said this wont harm the engine and you can call it "normal" but I bet if you carefully do your own oil change or stand over the shoulder of your tech when he's toppling off the last quart you'll likely have fewer or no smoking issues next time around
