Removed my stone guards
Just to help others in the future.
I had a spot under the 3M factory stone guard that I could not get out. I order 2 (L&R) from Suncoast OEM clear replacements. After some reading I chose to use a heat gun on a low 350' setting. As I tried to lift an edge with my fingernail I used a laser temp gauge until it reached 125' then it went easy. Not much glue, only around the edges which came off easy with Goo-Gone. Entire job was five minutes.
Tomorrow I will be installing the replacements, that should be more fun.
