I really wish someone would do a ducktail with the standard 911 air vents instead of the air scoops.

The original ducktail on the '73 Carrera kept the standard vents. The air vents are part of what I love most about the rear view look of 911s. So while I love the look of ducktails on the 997, I'm not willing to trade my air vents for air scoops.

Actually that's RPM Technik, not Getty. Those pictures are of their 997 CSR. I was actually there today and got a ride in that very car. The difference between them and Getty is RPM Techniks is carbon and Getty is fibreglass reinforced plastic I believe.

 

I couldn't agree more. My, we sure do have the same tastes now don't we?
