Fister Exhaust

Going to purchase the Fister Exhaust thru FDM and was wondering about anyone's thoughts on getting the ceramic coated ones?Is it advantageous on the keeping in the heat?Appreciate any remarks! Thanks,Barry.

I sprung for the cermachrome colored ceramic coating and couldn't be happier. Looks great and slows the engine bay heat soak time.

Bullseye7 is infamous around these parts
I have Fisters but didn't get any coating. Originals never had coating and never had any heat related problems. They don't show either so the only person who gets to enjoy how they look is the technician when he's under the car!

I did ask Darrin at FDM about them and he told me pretty much the same so I opted out.

They do look nice though...

+1 on Darin. He really was helpful when I told him my situation about needing them in a hurry to bring back to Canada by a certain date. Answered my 15 phone calls and took care of all my worries. As a new 997 owner he could have easily upselled me and talked me into the coating. I'd recommend him to anyone.
