Look at my other reply for passenger side connection, I replied right after previous one , As far as push back, no, not really, r u sure you don't have excess cable tangled up underneath the sills? The led's get stuck on the sill themselves with the peel away adhesive, then the carrera sign sticks to then led's then the whole thing to the actual original sill.

Would yo mind posting a close up pic should the edge/lip of sills sitting on top of existing?

The aluminum is thin enough to not really have any clearance issues, once the new sill is no top of the original one you can't really see it any more, but this does not affect the door operation in any way.

They look really nice. I think the original owner paid $1400 for the carbon illuminated door sills on my car! The lighted logo makes a huge difference, I really like mine. Great budget upgrade, great find.

Couldn't agree more, it's like saying I'm not going to clean my house cuz no one will see it....... U will see it!!! And how many passengers u have will too.
