I took off my OEMs and kept them. I bought a used set of cans on ebay and had them hacked. I would never consider taking them off. But I can include the OEMs when (if) I sell the car.

 

I love that there are references to this mod all over the forum and internet in general, but not one "guide" explaining what it is or how to do it. I've found a picture here and there for older cars... no idea what it means for my .2 S.
