You could cut the bypass and cap each end. Not sure if that's a good route though. You end up with a hacked up and repaired OEM muffler.
It might be better to buy a used set of mufflers to mod and hold onto your originals. If you ever want to go back, the originals are available and you can sell the Gundo'd ones.

I see you're in the Philippines. I was going to retire there 7 years ago and was to take the Porsches and a crotch rocket. Found out about "car tax" and was blown away. In summary, you can always sell your car to me. Hahahahahah
The big question is, where do I drive it with all the traffic in the city, SLEX, NLEX, etc.?
See you in PI someday!

I would say no and further discourage reversing it if you must. Just purchase some OEM exhausts on EBay or post here on the forums for an OEM unmodded set should you not like your gundo/fister exhausts..they don't cost much.

Bite the bullet and get your original mufflers hacked. In case you don't like it, you still have the option of buying a used OEM set. Consider the ff:
1) Buying a used one is not going to be cheap due to shipping cost if you're buying it from international seller. Package weighs about 50lbs. I sold mine to a 6speeder from up north about a month ago and paid about $75 on shipping. Now if you can find one locally, then it's a different story.
2) I can vouch for the gundo sound. I had it before I switched to PSE. I loved the sound as it sounds very close to PSE. The only reason I switched is I wanted to keep my car as close to original as possible. Probability of you keeping it is much greater than not.
3) I know there's a lot of good muffler shops there, who can reverse the gundo hack and barely tell the difference. I should know cuz I'm also a Pinoy. Besides, it's all hidden anyway and no one else will know it except you. So the rest is all psychological.
4) And if you decide to keep the gundo, selling a used OEM muffler is not that easy. Again shipping cost is an issue. You don't want to end up with a pair of boat anchors in your garage.
Hope this helps!!!

i'm pretty sure this mod is irreversible (or reversible, but not "ideal")...with that said, you'll have no problems finding a trade partner (your gundos for their stocks) in any of the 997 forums if you somehow don't like them (which you will).

I suppose it could be reversible, not sure the point. The market for hacked mufflers is pretty strong actually, maybe even in the Philippines. Good luck with whatever you choose - lots of good advice here.
