My Hevenle Car
Bought this 09 C2S Cabriolet recently and have been using 6speed and Rennlist to learn and educate myself (similar post is on Rennlist). You guys have really saved me some money with the excellent DIY's. Even though my car only had 8700 miles on it, the 4 yr major maintenance was due. Dealer quotes were from $1000 to $1200 so I decided to at least do some of it myself like oil change, air filters, cabin filter, and brake fluid flush. The only thing I don't feel comfortable with is the spark plug change. It seems ridiculous to me to change plugs at now 10K miles but dealer says it is mandatory to maintain CPO. Anyway, here are a few of the mandatory photos:

Very nice, especially the black paint guards around the rear wheels.
Question...did the Porsche badges on the two sides (front) come standard or was that a after-market add-on? It looks great therefore I ask.

The stone guards and the shields came from www.magnagrafik.com. Dan Porter is great to work with and is a Porsche guy (owns a 930). They are all magnetic which I prefer because they can be removed for a different look or for detailing (no wax buildup around the edges). Not sure if shields are on the website but you can email Dan at info@magnagrafik.com for more info.

hey man, great cars both of them....Is Dan local to Marion, I get through that way at times, I'm closer to Greensboro but that isn't a long trip for me, for the right guy...I LOVE the idea of them being magnetic too.
