engine light help
Once again turning to fellow 6speeders for some help. ...
While home last time I installed a fabspeed cold air intake. Everything went good. Nice clean easy install. Loved the increase sound. So I zip tied the vacuum solenoid to a bad spot I guess. It melted the tip shut. Engine light came on and that's when I noticed it. My obd2 reader said engine burning rich. I simply busted the tip off and it ran fine.... cleared code. I was worried about internal damage to the solenoid. Now a few weeks later its doing it again. Same code....engine running rich. So basically just wondering if ppl agree its the solenoid and if anyone can tell me hoe to go about ordering a new one if this is the issue.
Thanks for reading, all comment s and opinions are appreciated.

By vacuum solenoid, are referring to the vacuum hose that connects to the stock airbox on the 3.8L S? If so, I don't think that the vacuum hose will cause a check engine light whether the hose is open or plugged. That hose simply activates the sound resonator that's in the airbox.
