2008 Carrera ABS PSM

Last year, my 911 showed fault codes with ABS and PSM. I was told the front control module had to be replaced, so they did that. Almost 12 months to the day, the lights came back on and I took it back to the dealer. I had driven the car only 1,500 miles in 12 months, but the module has to be replaced again. I tried to search for information on this issue in the forum, but I was unable to find anything. I apologize if I am posting something that has already been discussed, but I had read elsewhere that static from waxing the car could cause this to fail. Is that correct? If so, have there been any updates to correct this issue? I'm beginning to lose confidence in this car. I used to get excited about driving it, but now I get in and wonder what else is going to break. I bought it with 87 miles on it and it now has 15,170. The window has never worked properly, the mirror fell off (and the dealer told me I had to buy a new windshield), and the cup holder broke and I've never used it. Now, I cannot even close that. I've had Porsche cars in the past as well as BMW's and MB's, but I have never had so many things go wrong with a car like this.
