997 s supercharged vs 997 gt3
Hi.
I have a 997 s supercharged and since now I didn't have any drag race or a race in a straight line with a 997 gt3.
Is anyone that had this race,or even any video?

I believe the 997 GT3 has an output of 409 HP and 299 TQ and just weighs in at a little over 3K - I think 3075. Not sure if the .2 has more power or not. What's your power output and weight?

Mine is 997s cabrio,it's 3306 and I have 405rwhp and 49kgm TQ

After that he drove my car and he told me that mine is very strong when I put the 3rd and the 4th gear(mine is manual).

. No, I think he is saying that he wants a VF S/C for the 997.2 DFI, which VF has not made one for.

You should be faster. I pass the 997.1 Gt3's at the track (on the straights) and mine is still NA.

That's the rub, faster in a straight line (than a GT3) but, driver skills being equal, not faster around the track. I suppose that if you supercharged and made appropriate suspension and braking modifications then the outcome may be different. The thing is, the cost of doing so would put you in GT3 price territory. (The last time I was at the track I was faster than a GT3RS on the straights but in the turns, and coming out of the turns where the GT3RS has way more "grunt", I was at the limit of my comfort level just not to lose too much ground.)

Maybe I am wrong but this is my point of view.
The man that drives my porsche told me that my car goes superb with the 3rd and the 4th gear and maybe I will past him.
