Spacers & Tread Wear

I put 15mm rear spaces on my 4S and it appears the inner part of the wheel is showing more wear than the outer part. I didn't know or was told that there should be any adjustment to the wheel or the camber if you install spacers...is that something I missed or could there be something else wrong?

Thanks

These cars typically wear more on the inside and the spacers should have minuscule effect on the wear pattern. The only way to fix it is to take corners more aggressively.

Solid advise!! Looks a new set of rears is coming. Running Hankkook's right now....thinking of giving PSS a try. Running mixes front and rears don't hurt right?

Porsche recommends all four corners match tire brand and model. This is a must for track use. High speed German autobahn driving I'd match all four too.

Always run the same brand on all four wheels. Always replace pairs on the same axle at the same time.

With all of that said, for a USA daily driver I'm personally not concerned with mixing near identical models within the same brand. For example, I'm using up the remaining front tread which are Michelin PS2's. My rears are new Michelin Super Sports. Once the fronts are spent, I'm moving to Super Sports there too to eventually have all four corners the same.

I recommend against mixing Hankook's and Michelin's at the same time. Spring for four new ones and sell off your used but still good front Hankooks.

Don't cheap out by compromising stability. Get four new tires and a good alignment and be done and worry free.

I won't cheap out....but won't need fronts as quickly as rears. I like my Hankook's but a big negative is they take a bit to warm up to get sticky. When I autoX they cool off quickly between runs. Purchased car with Bridgestones, but would like to try Michelins since they get a lot of props here.

Didn't mean to offend. I've seen several posts here over the years where people where trying to save a buck. You should either just burn through another set of Hanook rears or bite the bullet and do all four. They're a great tire and you won't get the full effect of its advancements if you only do the rear.

No problem. Probably wear another set of rears and then go for the upgrade tires.
